Wedding Wednesday Contest Reults & VOTE!

First of all, I owe an apology to everyone who submitted a board, I am soooo late in announcing the results.  To make up for this serious breach of the contest deadline, I will send a lovely set of letterpress thank you cards to a second winner….to be chosen by my readers.  So ladies, let me know which of the boards below are your favorite.

Wedding Wednesday Contest!

 Today we have a fun little contest for our Wedding Wednesday. 

My sister is planning her wedding, and wants You to inspire her!  Below are some pictures of her venue, El Adobe de Capistrano.  She is thinking of a loosely Mexican/Spanish themed affair, that will go with her location.  To help her out, create an inspiration board and email it to me by next Tuesday, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday.  The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to their choice of:  Williams Sonoma, Sur la Table, Pottery Barn, or Amazon (sent via email). 

Update:  the contest has been extended through Sunday, February 15th since my sister and I aren’t going to review the entries until Monday anyway.  We’ll announce the winner next Wednesday.  Good Luck!

Wedding Wednesday, a little late

This year we’ll be starting a little installment of Wedding Wednesdays here on the Little Things. My sister is getting married in July, and she hasn’t done so great on the wedding planning.  It’s almost February and she’s only done her save the dates and booked the reception location.  So, from now on I think I’ll be spending quite a bit of my free time helping out with all those little details.  I figure…why not blog about it, but I promise not to get too carried away. (I’ll try)

 Did anyone else find wedding planning hard?  Before I got married I had never hired a caterer or florist, and I definitely couldn’t tell you the difference between a dahlia and a peony.  I wish I had someone to help me out!  Still, I think I did okay.  To start off our Wedding Wednesdays, here are a few photos from my little (300 guest) wedding.  Photos are from the faboulous Heesyun, of Ruettgers Photography.  Check out their blog here.
