Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower prep

Oneof the things that has kept me so busy lately (and not blogging regularly) is my little sister’s bridal shower. My sister and her fiancee are a fun, offbeat couple so we decided to throw them a non-traditional bridal shower at the local race course.  I love her bicycle engagement photos from Brian Khang.

 The bridal shower is next weekend, so lots of the little details are still in the works, but here are the invitations we sent.  Most of the materials were from Paper Source.

A little inspiration for your New Year

The end of every year brings a bit of introspection and excitement.  Today I’m  thinking about 2008 and trying to remember all of our adventures, accomplishments, and even shortcomings.  Certaintly there were some rough times, but  regardless of the failures or disappointments of the year past there’s always the excitement that the new year brings…possibilities and resolutions still unfulfilled.

I’m especially excited about this year, and I plan to document it (hopefully) in these lovely composition books  by Compendium…their products are so inspiring.
