Last weekend we helped out with a “Servant’s Heart” dinner banquet at my church to honor all of the hard working volunteers that give so much of their time and effort.  So of course, we wanted to make this an extra special event to celebrate all these extra special people. We wanted to do a garden themed dinner, like a “thank you for the seeds you’ve sown”, sorta thing.  But we don’t have a garden, all we have is a gigantic hall so we decided to bring the garden indoors with lots of lush plants, garden benches and outdoor lights. We took our some of our inspiration from the cover of this bridal magazine.

Real Parties: Lion 1st Birthday

 

Joanna from Lotus Haus threw this fun, stylish Lion 1st Birthday Party for her godson…what a sweet godmother.  She started off by designing these cute invites and sent them out via Pingg.

Joanna got a lot of these fun items for great prices at Ikea, like this adorable little table set and stool. (I love Ikea)

 

Party goers brought well-wishes for the wishing tree, and had their picture taken “in the jungle”. Then, all the guests went home with animal cookies packaged with these cute labels that match the invitation perfectly.

A little baby shower inspiration

This wedding board from Snippet & Ink would also work perfectly (except for the wedding dresses and chapel) for a baby shower.
