Untraditional Pumpkin Centerpiece
I am in love with this gorgeous arrangement from Eddie Ross, it would go perfectly with my green Thanksgiving. See his more traditional arrangement here. Visit his site for instructions on how to make these arrangements, and lots of other fun stuff.

Thanksgiving: last year & this year
I’ve loved seeing everyone’s Thanksgiving inspirations this time of year. Especially a few non-traditional and modern takes like this & this from Hostess with the Mostess. My family members, however, are strict traditionalists, so our T-day always looks something like this:
This year, however, I’m lobbying to try something a little different. Still very Thanksgiving-ish, but not quite as orange, closer to this:
1. The Bride’s Cafe 2. Martha Stewart 3. Sweet Paul

Thanksgiving: Harvest Opulence
This American Harvest table from Country Living is so lovely and lush. Thanksgiving is the perfect time for a temporary departure from simple and modern. This tablescape is all about a return to American traditions and family heirlooms, so dust off grandma’s china and create a lush tablescape that reflects your own family history.
and even though this lovely theme is meant to showcase all those gorgeous antiques and heirlooms, here are a few fun pieces to add to the collection this year.
1. Pottery Barn Quail Plates, 2. Sur la Table Glass Cloches, 3. Pottery Barn Voluminous Vases, 4. Pottery Barn Pear Placecard Holders

Country Harvest Party
I wished I lived somewhere where there is actually an Autumn, it’s hard to get into the Thanksgiving mood when it’s almost 90 degrees outside. Well, this Country Harvest Party from The Finer Things has helped somewhat. I especially love that gourd garland.

A little baby shower inspiration
This wedding board from Snippet & Ink would also work perfectly (except for the wedding dresses and chapel) for a baby shower.
