Ty Pennington’s Party

August 1, 2008

I found a few pictures of this summer brunch on PointClickHome. Ty P. (yeah, that guy from Extreme Home Makeover), threw a nice little shindig. A man of many talents, who knew? Check out the full details here.

The Menu:

Tomato Baked Eggs,

Pecan Praline Crepes,

Apple Celery Granita,

& Breakfast Pizzas on pita.

DIY Projects:

Recycle old tin cans into stylish utensil holders or flower vases. You’ll need about 2½ yards of velvet ribbon, ¾ to 1½ inches wide to decorate each can. Using a hot-glue gun, place a dab of glue on the top side of the can. Wind the ribbon downward around the can, overlapping each layer about ¼ inch, making sure there aren’t any gaps, dabbing more glue along the way. At the bottom, trim the ribbon and affix with a final dab of glue.
